Environmentally Friendly Filmmaking

Trevor Kupfer |

With its recycled art competitions and the ZENN car, UW-Stout continues to assert itself as a campus gone green. And now, wouldn’t you know it, a Stout student filmed a three-minute documentary on the university’s green policies. The film is part of a national competition, Chill Out: Campus Solutions to Global Warming, sponsored by National Wildlife Federation. Stout’s submission comes as a collaboration of senior Bill Wikrent and the Environmental Sustainability Steering Committee. Now the competition needs viewers to choose a winner, which will lead to a national broadcast in April and grant monies for future green projects.
