New Winery Plants Its Vines in Chippewa Falls

Trevor Kupfer |

Live music, chocolate, wine, cheese, pottery, and diversity will emerge this June at a new vineyard in Chippewa Falls. Conveniently located off Highway 29, River Bend Vineyard & Winery presents an atmosphere of luxury and flavor. It’s a dream accomplishment for owners Donna and Al Sachs, Pam and Tom Kell, who make their wines from grapes grown right here in the Valley, uniquely offering “the full wine experience; cold, hearty, hybrid grapes, producing well-balanced wines,” Donna said. Two of their semi-sweet wines can currently be found at Foreign Five and Gordy’s in Chippewa, and Hahn’s Market and Cap-N-Corks in Eau Claire.
