Dead Man

UWEC’s spring lineup of films strikes a balance between must-see cinematic classics and recent cult, indie, and foreign flicks. They just recently kicked off with Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange, and the aforementioned “classics” continue to May with pics like Fritz Lang’s M, Robin Hardy’s Wicker Man, De Sica’s Bicycle Thief, and, as always, The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Their slated list of cult flicks could be considered “classics” to many cinephiles nowadays, from Repo! The Genetic Opera and Shaolin Soccer to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Dead Man. The most recent films on the list include the Sam Rockwell indie sci-fi flick Moon and animated autobiography Persepolis.
