Grace Fechner is a mixed media artist living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She graduated in 2013 from University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration.
“This piece is from a series of seven I made while at an artist residency in Stodvarfjordur, Iceland. The series explores humans as social animals. Child-like materials and techniques were utilized and finessed in order to abstract and echo the learning process through which people are taught how to accurately communicate themselves to others.” – The Artist
