Many musical happenings take place in our lovely Eau Claire, however this year marks the Silver Anniversary of the Master Singers. Happy 25 years guys! Director and Conductor Gary Schwartzhoff is grateful for this chamber ensemble’s longevity and continued support. “Over the years, we have welcomed in over 250 musicians into the ensemble from the Greater Chippewa Valley,” Schwartzhoff stated. “It is rewarding to witness the musical opportunities that the ensemble has accomplished in our history.” This season will feature two original works by Connor Koppin: Waves That Seek The Shore at the fall concert and Lessons and Carols at their Christmas show. The Master Singers will continue to commission fresh pieces, tour internationally, and “continue to play a role in the musical fabric of the Greater Chippewa Valley and beyond,” according to Schwartzhoff. Tickets are $18 per person and $5 for students for each performance. Season passes are available for only $45. Tickets are available for purchase at Festival Foods’ Eau Claire location, First Congregational UCC, at the door of each performance, or online at themastersingers.net.
