Tis the season of giving, and throughout Eau Claire, not all residents have food to spare. To spread a little joy to families in need, The Community Table is teaming up with local chefs for a fundraising event. Amy Huo, head chef of The Informalist, is working with James Beard Award nominee Luke Zahm from the Driftless Cafe in Viroqua to create a killer menu for the charity dinner. Join fellow foodies from 6:30-8:30pm  on Thursday, Jan. 11, to enjoy one fabulous meal at The Community Table, 320 Putnam St. Pre-sale tickets are $35, but you can also purchase tickets at the door for $40. All proceeds will benefit The Community Table. Both The Informalist and the Drifless Cafe promote farm-to-table food and support local farms. So, naturally, Huo and Zahm are working with quality organic ingredients, locally grown for locals to savor. Grab some grub, hang out, and support your community.
