Local arts and gift shop Tangled Up in Hue is partnering with nonprofit organization United Cerebral Palsy of West Central WI (UCP of WCW) to spread awareness of people of all ages with varying abilities.

To kick off the “Just Give” campaign Tangled Up in Hue is hosting an event at their shop at 505 S. Barstow Street on Thursday, Oct. 4 from 6-9pm.

Here, attendees can enjoy free entertainment by musicians Lizzy Diane, Hemma and Brian Bethke, along with a presentation on UCP of WCW’s programs and services by Program Services Coordinator Nancy Meyer.

There will also be appetizers by Forage kitchen, refreshments, and a basket raffle with prizes from local downtown businesses. The Just Give Campaign “Be Beautifully Different” shirts will be for sale during the event.

Tangled Up in Hue will carry shirts custom-designed for the campaign that read “Be Beautifully Different” October-December, just in time for Christmas.

All profit from the shirts will go toward programs and services supporting individuals and families of those with Cerebral Palsy, Alzheimer’s, Autism, Down syndrome and more in the 12 counties UCP of WCW serves.
