Chippewa Vallians can enjoy free outdoor music six of seven days a week with the addition of FOUR new summer music concert series. From university talent to country crooners, there’s a little something for everyone.

 

Sunset Sounds at UW-Eau Claire

Every other Monday, June 10-Aug. 19, 8pm • Head to UWEC’s campus mall Mondays in the evening for a show run entirely by students. Sunset Sounds will feature student and faculty musicians providing a soundtrack to start the week. Beer, wine, soda, and snacks will be available.

Wednesdays, June 12-Aug. 28, 6:30pm • If you’re lookin’ for a bit of rock ’n’ roll to get you through hump day, Altoona’s River Prairie Park is the place to be. Eleven local rock bands will belt out classics and introduce their new works over the course of the summer. Food trucks are on site!

Mondays, July 1-Aug. 26, 6:30pm • Another brand-new summer concert series at River Prairie Park is just for country lovin’ Chippewa Valley residents. Grab a bite to eat at one of the on-site food trucks and enjoy outfits such as North of Dixie and Ellie May Kay at the amphitheater.

Sunday Summer Concert Series at Riverfront Park

Sundays, June 16-Aug. 4, 6pm • This new concert series is hosted on the bank of the Chippewa River at the newly opened Chippewa Falls Riverfront Park. Local artists such as Sean Jordan and Dead Ringers will put the amphitheater to use.
