“Campfire” by Harlie Juedes
April 2019, acrylic on canvas, 18x24”

Harlie Juedes is a local artist that enjoys painting familiar Midwestern scenery. When she isn’t painting, she is following her other passion of serving small businesses through creative marketing.

“Sitting around the fire, watching it burn, and feeling the heat on a cool night is glorious. We often don’t recognize it, but we live in a beautiful part of the world. I love capturing this beauty in paintings to share and remind us all of the peaceful scenery that surrounds us here in the Midwest. That’s why creating nostalgic pieces like this campfire means so much to me. Scenes such as this or a trail in the woods fill me with peace. My purpose is to bring you joy and encouragement through creating artwork that speaks to the soul. I hope this campfire piece can bring back many great memories for you. Thanks for grabbing Volume One magazine and viewing my work.” – The Artist
