Flynn Elementary Is Looking for an Artist in the Classroom

Tom Giffey |

Are you a local artist interested in sharing your talent, technique, and vision with eager youngsters? The Eau Claire Public School Foundation has issued a call for artists for the annual Artist in the Classroom program at Flynn Elementary School. The program is supported by a fund endowed by two Eastside Hill neighborhood residents, and provides a stipend for an artist who will work with Flynn art classes over the course of one semester.

The winning artist and the school’s art teacher will determine the artist’s activity, hours, and schedule. Artists interested in applying for the program for the 2019-20 school year must do so by Oct. 14. Applicants are asked to download and complete an application form, including a statement of interest and digital images of their artwork.
