Dreaming of beautiful skin? Aubrey Belisle can relate. After years of struggling with acne as a teenager, she found herself researching ways to defeat problem skin. The result? Water Street’s newest skincare studio, Bel Aesthetics.

“Bel Aesthetics is 100% a labor of pure love,” Belisle said. “I am absolutely obsessed with my craft and am always seeking out more education and ways to deliver top-notch service.”

Belisle – licensed aesthetician, owner, and sole practitioner of Bel Aesthetics – was born in Minneapolis but studied skincare at the Aveda Institute Portland and got her start at numerous spas in the area. Following a desire to return to the Midwest, Belisle moved to Eau Claire in October 2020 and opened her studio space shortly afterward.

“I love the building I operate out of – the Suites at 427,” Belisle gushed. “It is a beautifully decorated historic building, and I believe my guests should enter a place of beauty for their service.”

Bel Aesthetics, which takes its name from Belisle (French for "beautiful island"), stands out from other skincare clinics for a variety of reasons. Perhaps most notably, though, Belisle avoids using synthetic fragrances and emphasizes the use of CBD in her services.

“CBD helps with acne, any type of inflammation, and repairing UV damage, which is 90% of what ages the skin,” Belisle said.

Bel Aesthetics offers a wide range of facial treatments and body waxing services. In addition, the studio provides body treatments using preservative-free masks and scrubs Belisle creates herself, as well as homemade hemp-infused bath bombs.

“I aim to create an ultra-relaxing space that welcomes everyone,” Belisle said. “I understand how acne can affect one’s life, and I am passionate about helping people with inflammation of all kinds.”

Bel Aesthetics is located at 427 Water St., Suite 7.  The studio is open from 11am-7pm Monday through Thursday, 11am-6pm on Fridays, and 11am-3pm on Sundays.  More information is available at belaesthetics.com.
