You want the top five pinball machines in the Chippewa Valley? Well, you got it buddy (in no particular order). What are we basing this on? Playability is big. If you’re a pinball operator and you DON’T fix your machines, we’re holding it against you. On the other hand, if that thing plays like butter, you deserve your kudos. The other stuff? Ambiance, fun factor, and ease of getting drinks should be factored in as well. 

1. Foo Fighters | The Joynt (322 Water St., Eau Claire)
The Joynt is an institution. We don’t need to sell you on that. Why Foo Fighters? It’s an amazing, brand-new game that has you playing as the Foo Fighters vs an alien horde. I gotta sell you more? I think not.

2. Jurassic Park | The Reboot Social (220 S. Barstow St., Eau Claire)
JP is the thinking man’s pinball game. It requires patience, dexterity, and an ability to quote every line from the movie. Reboot has theirs in tip-top shape. Plays like buttah.

3. Black Knight Sword of Rage | Dooley's Pub (442 Water St., Eau Claire)
You didn’t know pinball was at Dooley’s? Welp, you should. This is the best modern pinball game of all time and it’s sitting right in front of an Irish Bar. Is it brutally hard? Yes. Does Donovan’s keep it in terrible shape? Also yes. But it’s legit the most fun game on this list.

4. The Mandalorian | The View (17779 Cty Hwy X, Chippewa Falls)
Great views, great game.

5. Rick and Morty | The Reboot Social, basement level (220 S. Barstow St., Eau Claire)
They hide this one away, but it’s so, so great. Also, Spooky is a Wisconsin-based pinball company.
