The highly popular annual juried art exhibit, Wisconsin ArtsWest, will be returning to the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library (400 Eau Claire St., Eau Claire) from March 11 to May 20, 2024. Art submissions are now being accepted with a deadline of Jan. 22.

Art must be submitted by Wisconsin residents ages 18-plus, with entries having been created no earlier than Jan. 1, 2022. Artists can submit up to two pieces of original artwork of any medium via a submittable.com account. The title of the artwork should be the submission file name.

All artwork will be reviewed and chosen by this year’s juror, Michael Martin. Martin received his BFA from UW-Eau Claire in 1977 and additional education from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. He has engaged in roles as an art director, creative director, and illustrator in both Eau Claire and Madison, amassing many awards and “Best of Show” honors.

Notification of acceptance and non-acceptance will be emailed to applicants no later than Feb. 16 via Submittable. Prizes will be awarded to artists for categories including Best of Show ($300), First Prize ($200), Second Prize ($150), and Third Prize ($100).
