Is there a project in your house that you just can’t seem to get to? Trust me, as an avid weekend warrior and DIY home renovator, I know just how hard it is to get things done as quickly as you’d like. I too find myself grimacing at an outdated tile backsplash and wanting nothing more than for it to be suddenly done and over with. Fortunately for you, we’ve got just the solution.

In this issue, we’re featuring a special section, Builders & Remodelers, which covers an array of content on the subject of home improvement. You’ll find interviews, Best Of poll results, and more in a section we hope will give you a leg up on hiring the right contractor, vendor, or handyman to get your job done.

Also in this issue is our special section that covers two absolutely joyful topics: Death & Taxes. If you’re reading this, then statistically it’s likely that you don’t have a will or estate plan. Just like it’s time to stop putting off that renovation project, it’s time to get your financial affairs in order. It’ll take a load of stress off of you and your family, knowing that that’s taken care of. And just like hiring the right contractor, you’ll need a professional to help get all that exciting paperwork finished.

It’s time to get a couple things crossed off of your to-do list. You’ll feel better when you do.
