Mona Lisa's

The dining menu at this Eau Claire original is known for its constant rotation, and what's available at the bar is no different. Mona's 10 taps are always specialties and are always rotating; the same goes for the wine list, which offers more than 20 options sold by the glass. The items that don't change are the famous Mona Margaritas, espresso martinis, Lisa's seasonal mezcal cocktail, and house-made infusions of fruit and herbs. The Mediterranean bistro vibe continues on the outdoor patio (with a fireplace), and the party room is suitable for 99 people.

I really like this place. I have only been here twice but find the menu to be excellent. Lots of things I would like to try on the menu. Everything I've had has been extremely good and the service has been fabulous. Very friendly wait staff! I will return to this restaurant.

I completely agree with lovetoeatjoe. The funniest part about it is the menus. I found 35 spelling and grammer errors on their menu. Just went to The Livery and the same thing. Lisa, do you ever think about using spell check? I havent gone to Stella's yet and really don't want to, but I might just to see how many errors are on their menu! Oh, and the food and service is not worth it for what you get!

Awesome waiter, sublime food (the ILuvGarlic pizza is to die for) but Lisa herself should consider staying behind the scenes. We asked to keep the wine list on our table so we could sample different wines later, but Lisa walked by and snatched the list from our table without a word and placed it on another table. Uhh, hello? When our waiter returned, we explained what happened and asked for another list. No worries, but she is just a little off. Give it a go, and ask for a window table. The food will not disappoint.

Why is every restaraunt owned by these people (Stella Blues, The Livery) ran the same way with poor service and below average food it seems lately the quality of food as went down hill dramatically. With the prices Mona Lisas charges you would expect to be wowed with elegant dishes and excellent service I give this place 1 out of 5 stars never going back to one of their restaraunts

Ridiculously expensive for such a small town, I was actually insulted by the WAITRESS! We were recommended the wrong wine, hmm... I wonder if it was the fact it was 3 times more than any other bottle. I used to like the food here, but you can tell they're cutting back on the quality of food they buy.
