Think Spring Garden Seminar
Attendees will have the opportunity to choose educational programs for each of five sessions throughout the day. Speakers will include local Master Gardener Volunteers, UW-Extension educators and local garden/nursery owners. Fee also includes: lunch, vendors, and door prizes.
Speakers and session breakouts include:
“Getting Started in Beekeeping” with Jodi Lepsch, CVTC instructor
“Gardening with Chickens” and “Mushroom Growing Workshop” with Dora Wood, CVMGA volunteer and organic business owner
“Growing Hops: Climbing Toward a Cold One” and “Landscaping for Your Lifestyle” with Jerry Clark, UW-Extension Agriculture Agent
"Everything Houseplants” with Shaun Christensen of Christensen’s Floral
“Grow Your Own: Vegetable Gardening for Beginners” with Ellen Terwilliger, Eau Clare Master Gardener Volunteer
As well as sessions on Fermenting, Monarch Butterflies, Peonies, Turning Landscapes into Ecosystems, The Buzz on Bees, and Ergonomic Gardening. Attendees will have the opportunity to choose educational programs for each of five sessions planned throughout the day.
Cost: $25 until 2/6, $30 until day of | $15 for students until 2/6
