All that glitters is probably UW-Stout art instructor Kari Tarr.

There can never be enough glitter in the artistic creations of UW-Stout art instructor Kari Tarr ... or, it seems, The Martha Stewart Show for that matter. For the second time this year Tarr’s sparkling face and art will be making an appearance on Stewart. When the show airs on Tuesday, December 6 at 9am, Kari will help Martha make a sparkly Christmas ornament. Later, directions for the ornament will be available on Tarr’s and Martha’s website

Back in March, for the “Simply Remarthable Contest,” Tarr was chosen as a finalist. Her painting had truckloads of glitter fashioned in vertical rows of different colors which screamed look at me. Tarr admits, “I’ve always loved glitter” but I think that her love for glitter has turned into a successful obsession. Congrats to Tarr for finding a way to make what she loves a part of what she does.
