Annette and Björn Lund have been traveling the world and they aren’t keeping it all to themselves. On their blog "Letter from Lund," they post pictures from their travels, as well as their lives. And awesomely enough, they lived in Menomonie from 1979 to 1980, attend UW-Stout, and have since lived in Serbia and now Sweden. The blog post for Menomonie is basically a fantastic photo set offering a glimpse into ‘70s era Wisconsin. Pictures include student parking showcasing some nice vintage cars, a fire department competition at a town festival, and damage from the infamous 1980 wind storm. It’s fun to see what the town looked like 35 years ago. (But be sure to also check out Annette and Björn’s other photo galleries, too, which include galleries from Bosnia, Ethiopia, Barcelona, and more.)
