Earth Day Service Event: Ice Age Trail Clean Sweep
Saturday, April 22 • 9am
Ice Age Trail Crossing on Deer Fly Trail
Get outside, enjoy the Ice Age Trail, and contribute your effort to removing branches and debris from the trail and get it ready for spring users. Bring work gloves and water resistant work boots, and prepare for ticks (long pants tucked inside socks). Bring water and a snack or lunch. Stay the morning, or until early afternoon.
Earth Day Event: Computers, Electronics, and Appliances Recycling Day

First Choice Computer Recycling
Recycle computers and most electronics for free. All appliances, TVs, and CRT tube monitors will have reduce prices. First Choice offers free or reduced rates through the week of Apr. 17-21.
The Amazing Eau Claire Cleanup

City of Eau Claire Parks and Trails
The Amazing Eau Claire Clean-Up The Eau Claire Parks, Recreation, & Forestry Department is organizing the “Amazing Eau Claire Clean-Up” for Saturday, April 22, 2017. This event sends volunteers to locations throughout the city including community parks, neighborhood playgrounds, picnic areas, and recreational trails, where they clean the areas and prepare flowerbeds. Following the clean up, volunteers are invited to Boyd Park for food and prizes. The Amazing Eau Claire Clean-up is a great opportunity for people to work together and make a difference in our community. For more information contact the Parks Maintenance Office at 715-839-5039.

Children's Museum of Eau Claire
Using tissue, soil and seeds, squish, squeeze and place our bomb in a cup to dry. Then, as Spring warms into Summer, kids can tear away the cup, place the bomb in a small hole in the ground, cover it with soil and wait for it to sprout.
