The Brickhouse in Eau Claire welcomed back early 2010s indie rockers The Heart Pills for a reunion show on April 5 alongside fellow Eau Claire band Meridene (who haven’t performed since 2017) and Oshkosh-based The Traveling Suitcase. After a quiet exit from the music scene years ago, things felt unfinished, The Heart Pills’ primary songwriter, Josh Ingersoll, said in a recent interview. On Friday, April 5, The Heart Pills secured some finality to their musical journey.
