Great Orange Roughy. Hubby likes the Saturday Sirloin special. He would like to have his steak seasoned more. All was good & reasonably priced. We will go back.

This restaurant/saloon feels like the TV series, "Cheers" to me. I love this place. Great food, waitstaff and bartenders. Everyone is welcoming and friendly and they hire the best music in Chippewa. It has a cozy atomosphere, not too big or too small even though it has 3 stories to the building. Their fish fry on Fridays is the best in town. If you plan on going and haven't been, go on a night they have live music, order some food and drinks and experience everything they have to offer.

For me, entering the Sheeley House was like discovering a secret oasis in the middle of a desert. Not that Chippewa is a hot dry sandpit, but I just didn't expect the fine dining and peaceful, cozy atmosphere I encountered there. That it's located in an historic building overlooking the Chippewa River is just one of its many charms. The dining area boasts two fireplaces. The waitstaff was attentive, and the food was delicious. Portion sizes were generous.
