Landscape Design for Climate Change

Learn about landscaping that will thrive in a changing climate from "sustainable landcare trainer" Douglas Owens-Pike of Wheeler. He'll report on his research on the plants and trees that can be expected to thrive in our area as the climate changes during the lifetimes of those plants. The program is also the annual meeting of the Chippewa County Land Conservancy and will be held in the conference room at the CVTC's Chippewa Falls campus. Owens-Pike is the author of the book "Beautifully Sustainable: Freeing Yourself to Enjoy Your Landscape", operated a landscape business for many years, and has served as a landscape design trainer.
