Frost Byte

Menomonie jungle show will showcase Midwest DJs

DJ ESP (aka DJ Alex P. Keaton)

An upcoming music event is proving that more can come from the Midwest than frozen extremities. Frost Byte will showcase the hottest regional talent in the techno, drum & bass, house, and dubstep scenes in a long night of dance beats, laser light shows, and drink specials. The lineup features DJ Easyrider and MC Brace of Minneapolis, both highly influential in the Midwest DnB/jungle movement. Chicago’s house scene has loaned out DJ L and DJ Mooney. Local acts from Menomonie and Eau Claire will also be featured, including Josh G, dirtydub, and bluepauly2. Most impressive for our little slice of Wisconsin, however, is headliner DJ ESP, world-renowned electronic musician from Minneapolis. DJ ESP, aka Woody McBride, has spent his musical career as a producer, event organizer, and advocate of drug-free lifestyles. His tracks have been featured in a BMW ad, Ralph Nader’s campaign soundtrack, on numerous electronic labels, and in countless raves and techno clubs. For any electronic music enthusiast, or anyone interested in a new experience, Frost Byte is not to be missed. Tickets can be purchased in advance at OneLoveDJs.com, but do so soon – this show is expected to sell out fast.
