Revival Records Moving, Expanding to Downtown EC

Almost a year after opening its doors, Eau Claire record store Revival Records is moving downtown. When owner Billy Siegel originally opened the store at its current Clairemont location, he mostly sold used classic rock records from the days when everyone owned a record player. Over the last year, patronage has grown to include not only classic rock junkies, but also those looking for new, predominantly indie records from artists who have given us the gift of their albums on vinyl. The new building, located at 418 S. Barstow St. is almost three times bigger than the current one in order to accommodate more records and more customers. Siegel will begin moving October 15 and reopen by November 1. After he reopens, Siegel is planning on hosting a charity event for Feed My People, featuring an auction with items donated by Justin Vernon, Amble Down Records, and others.
