What more could you ask for? How about a haunted corn maze to go along with it? For only $3 more you could opt to do the haunted maze, but no matter what you do, look out for Chucky. He is rumored to roam the premises.

Bring the family, or hold on to a friend! Each year, the center transforms one of the riding trails into an interactive haunted location to be enjoyed by all ages.

One thing that won’t be easy is finding your way out of their new corn maze. Eight acres are dedicated to helping the Boy Scouts celebrate their 100th birthday. Think it’s tricky in the daylight? Try it in the dark, but bring a flashlight if you’re nyctophobic …

A spooky trek through their “haunted” woods should be fun for any family. Make sure you take a ride down the “80 foot spooktacular giant slide” too! Other activities to do with the family include: watching the pumpkin launching festivities, enjoying the magical woodland maze, bowling with pumpkins, and venturing though the Land of No Return Corn Maze. Be on the lookout for the vengeful, experiment-of-an-individual named Patchwork as he wreaks havoc on the asylum’s residents. Geared toward middle school-age kids and up. Includes an indoor waiting room with old movies and a kids room with care providers for younger children.

Haunted Chippewa History Tour Fridays & Saturdays through Oct. 30 • Downtown Chippewa Falls • Usually 9pm, call to make reservations • $7 • 379-9977 • www.chippewavpi.com • Take a walk around downtown Chippewa Falls, and learn about some of its ominous and paranormal history. This year, there will also be a tour of the historic James Sheeley House, a landmark Victorian diner and saloon in Chippewa Falls. If that doesn’t do it for you, maybe you should inquire about their haunted Halloween night pub-crawl. Private tours available per request during the week.

Town of Tormented Souls
Fridays and Saturdays through Halloween • 638 Highway 65, Roberts • 7pm-midnight • $15 general, $5 kids 12 and under (Kid’s Zone open Saturdays 2-4pm) • www.ktkhauntedadventures.com • The most popular haunted house in western Wisconsin expects to attract about 10,000 people to the town of Roberts, roughly an hour from Eau Claire, for this zombie-infested abode complete with a Kids Zone. A guided tour within the Kids Zone, complete with lights and candy, will be available for the costumed trick-or-treaters. Parents beware … outside of the Kids Zone, some of the attraction may be too scary for young children.
