This summer Hobbs Ice Center in Eau Claire is once again offering “Lunch Break Open Skate,” an opportunity that allows the public to come and skate for an affordable $2 admission Monday through Friday from 11am to 1pm. There is no need to have your own skates as skate rental is free during these scheduled times. This is also an opportunity for indoor exercise, without paying the costly monthly gym membership fees or suffering from heat stroke in the sweltering outdoors.
