RCU Officially Abandons Plans for Second Building

Plans had been in the works for more than a decade to build a second downtown office for RCU, but they have now been slashed. The decision was made earlier this year because it was determined that the current downtown building will be ample for years to come. If need be, it could even be remodeled in the future to allow for more space for tenants in the building. The plan to create the second downtown RCU building was first in the works in 2002. Since then, times have changed a bit, with more communication and finances going online. Part of the reason the decision was made was to help cut costs that customers disliked. Who knows? The Phoenix Park area could now be developed in different ways than previously thought.
