City Survey Asks Why You Love Eau Claire

Electronic Eau Claire Conversation, also known as E2C2, is an online public forum used by city officials to collect input on important topics that impact our community. And while most of the time the overall vibe of the forum is about fixing what’s broken, there’s a new discussion about loving what’s right. The City of Eau Claire has created a special topic board that’s all about showing your love for the city. They’re asking area residents to put aside the things that irk them (potholes, snow removal) and share what makes them stay. In their introduction to the discussion they encourage people to “think about the things in Eau Claire that make you love it. Consider the places where you eat, shop, walk, bike, the events you love, the rituals you rely on, and the things you would miss if you moved away.” Responses on this forum, and all E2C2 boards, are reviewed by city officials and used in their decision-making processes. For the love campaign, they’ll be creating a word cloud to pinpoint what is most important to the people who are living here every day. Bottom Line: There will be plenty of time for complaining later, but for now let’s log on and share the love. Find the survey at web.ci.eau-claire.wi.us/e2c2.
