A partnership between Visit Eau Claire and several local establishments helped bring about the Play Pass. For $20, families can get pass which would allow them free entrance and access to four out of a possible ten different kid-centric places around town like Action City, Beaver Creek Reserve, Fairfax Pool, the Eau Claire Children’s Museum, and more. While play is often thought of as a time to get away from chores and homework, it actually involves some serious learning, folks! You’re developing problem-solving skills and new vocabulary all while getting healthy. To help you grow those brain cells, you’ll definitely want to check out the Visit Eau Claire Play Pass. When you’re done with your four adventures, bring in your card to Visit Eau Claire or the Eau Claire Community Foundation for a prize! So what adventures can you go on using your pass? How about an hour of unlimited play at Action City? You can also get one admission ticket to a show at the Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild. Up for some bowling? You’re in luck! Wagner’s Lanes is offering two free bowling games for a group of four people. The following businesses are also offering one daily pass: Beaver Creek Reserve, Chaos Water Park, Children’s Museum of Eau Claire, Chippewa Valley Museum, Eau Claire YMCA, Fairfax Pool or Hobbs Ice Arena, and Paul Bunyan Logging Camp. To get in on this summer fun, you’ll want to purchase the pass from Visit Eau Claire’s website (www.visiteauclaire.com/playpass) or visit any of the participating businesses.
