Red's Offering Business Workshops

Whether you’re just starting out as an entrepreneur or already have some business savvy, furthering knowledge is never a bad thing. Red’s Mercantile (224 N. Dewey St.), a well-known supporter of entrepreneurs in the Eau Claire area, is hosting two workshops to offer just that: knowledge! A Legal Workshop (6:30-8pm on Wednesday, Sept. 27) will explore the realm of startups, contracts, and other legal-related matters. Guest speaker Emilu Starck, a neighborhood business attorney at Ruder Ware, will show attendees the basic steps to legitimize a business. After you’ve turned your business dream into a reality, the next step is getting the word out. Learn how to do that at a Marketing Workshop (6:30-8pm on Wednesday, Oct. 25). A panel of local marketing gurus will give their tips and tricks on marketing strategies, calendars, and more. Learn more about the workshops and how to sign up for them at redsmercantile.com/collections/workshops. The $30 fee includes professional knowledge and how-to tools, plus light snacks and La Croix. What could be better than making connections and building on your business skills with a cold, bubbly beverage and snack in hand?
