To bid a farewell to 2017, Clearwater Comedy has invited comedian Michael Palascak to Eau Claire. Stop by The Plus for Palascak’s set at 8:30pm Thursday, Dec. 28. Sides will split, snorts will be expelled, and comedy-induced tears will spill. Everyone’s welcome, although 18+ is preferred. Admission is a $10 bill with a discounted rate of $7 for students. For attendees older than 21, a free domestic tap or rail drink is included in the cost of entry. Some of you may be thinking Palascak looks familiar; well you’re right! He’s a national headliner and has been featured on Conan, Last Comic Standing, and The Tonight Show, just to name a few. By embracing his youthful “humilities” and blue-collar experiences, Palascak’s material began winning comedy award after award, building quite the reputation. But Palascak’s success wasn’t a spontaneous occurrence. After surviving his awkward high school days, working 50 hours a week to get himself through college, and moving in with his parents, Palascak has compiled a long list of relatable material audiences can nod, groan, and cackle at. He jokes about a topic we all hold near and dear to our hearts: the process of transforming from a feral adult into a sophisticated one.
