Kelly Boyea is a senior at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire working towards a double degree in Accounting and Art with an emphasis in Ceramics.

"The piece “Pinnacle” is a bleed monotype from a semester of study into the art of serigraphy. As a monotype this is a unique print and being a ‘bleed monotype’ specifically means that it extends off of the page rather than staying in a distinct frame on the page. In college the primary focus of my art major is in ceramics but I enjoy working in a variety of mediums. This was my first exploration into printmaking – a medium I will definitely be working with more in the future. Most of my art focuses on inspiration from nature. I tend to use bright, saturated colors in my work.” – The Artist
