Grizzly’s is a relaxed, family-friendly grill with a bar side full of TVs and a quieter (but still fun) restaurant side. They have a full menu of steaks, appetizers, soups, salads, fish, burgers, pastas, wraps, and more. Favorites include the babyback ribs, Bear Creek pasta, and their rotisserie chicken, which has won Best Chicken for seven straight years in our Best of the Chippewa Valley poll. Stop by on your birthday for a free piece of cheesecake.

In the past, Grizzly's has always seemed to be a great choice for a Friday night out with friends. I may be rethinking that after last weekend. The food was definitely not as good as what I've had in the past. Lately it seems as though the food quality has dropped dramatically. My wife's paltry order of broiled fish and my order of fire-roasted chicken and ribs were not very appetizing. The chicken had a weird rubbery texture. I was expecting it to be grilled and crispy on the outside, but it was actually kind of slimy. They drenched the chiken and ribs in some crappy BBQ sauce that ruined the whole "fire-roasting" flavor (if there ever was any to begin with.) As I mentioned earlier, my wife had the broiled cod. The portion was basically the size of a deck of cards cut in half. Pretty weak for a Friday fish special. The only redemption for the meal was our order of cheese cubes which came out hot and gooey (and very late.) I used to come here for the nachos, but now I'm not sure I'll even come back for those. Grizzlies needs to get back to basics and do what they were doing in the past.

I really REALLY miss the old location, it doesn't seem the same.

The 2 for 1 burgers was a good deal, but were quite bland and the cheese curds were too greasy. My wife enjoyed her salad. The service was excellent.

Grizzly's 2 for 1 burgers have never failed us. They also have GREAT salads in the summer. I haven't been to the new location but am happy they're still around and look forward to going there again.

I love Grizzly's! We have consistently had great food and excellnt service. It is above par as far as casual dining goes. Grizzly's in the cities is great, the old Grizzly's was one of our favorite places to go with the kids and I thoroughly enjoy the new Grizzly's by Oakwood.
