Stella Blues' lineup of imbibables is impressive to say the least. There are 21 constantly rotating taps, a monstrous specialty drink list with about 50 martinis and margaritas to choose from, numerous wine options, and the amazing Cajun menu. Happy hour is 4-6pm Monday-Friday. They have an outdoor patio and a great party room with full bar that holds about 190. Closed Sundays.

The food is ok, the only thing on the menu I go back for are the sweet potato fries. Service is not great. I once sat at the bar for 20 minutes before the bartender took my order, and the other times I've been there service was just passable.

BRUTAL experience the last time we were here. Went there for drinks around 9pm. Asked the bartender where a beer came from, she said Illinois, then northern IL. I said cool and that I was originally from northern IL. She promptly said, "Oh, a F.I.B.". She then looked back over her shoulder while she was ringing up the bill and again said "F.I.B." Asked why she would say that, she mentioned that she is proud of being from WI. (Hey, I have been here for a few years). After a little "conversation" back and forth, she said she was sorry, since it offended me. Manager was there, and she said, "What more do you want me to do?" Manager never came over to the table to apologize, and the place was near empty. Wrote a letter to the owners just stating the facts and no reply two weeks later. Are you kidding me? As you can see, we were big fans of this place. Not anymore. We can never go back.

I am obessed with their beet salads here!! I usually don't like beets, but there's something about it. All their appitizers are great,I love the sweetpotato fries and the spinach dip!! the cajun pasta or bourbon scallops are AMAZING!!! It is pricy though... that's my only complainte!!

We decided to head back, without the little ones (not sure if they have highchairs yet). We were really satisfied. Our meals were great (Blue Angel pasta was great!), as was the service. The cornbread is crazy good. Not sure if there is a better beer selection in E.C. Cannot imagine one in town better. Next time we have a sitter and are willing to spend a few extra dollars, we will head back.

Excellent love the corn bread, portabella sandwich and a fine selection of brews. A very good place.
