Brickhouse Pub & Grub

This is a classic after-work kind of bar. The bartenders remember your name, the beer is cheap and domestic (eight taps), and the food is simple, but good. They've got pool (with a league), darts, touch-screens, and video games, but shuffleboard is king. A hall is available for large events; a balcony for small parties.

By the name, you'd assume this is a place you can go in and get a decent meal and drink. Don't make assumptions...the name is not at all what this place is like. It's a bar. Complete with dirty old men looking for their next conquest and women throwing themselves at anything that breathes. I went in, looking for basic pub food and expecting basic pub food. However, at 8:30 at night, not truly late by anyone's standards if you are truly a "pub" & "grub," the waitstaff (really bartenders) were sur

I gotta say the "LT" is a great place to hang out. I have been going there for a very long time. It gives off the "you're home" feeling. The bartenders are some of the best around. The drink prices are fair. Two things many people don't know. Texas Hold'em Turny held every Friday at 7pm. The buy in is only $10 and it pays out based on how many people play. The game has about 20 people on avg. The other fun fact is, you can take a quater put it on it's side and roll it from the bend in the bar to the cash register. This isn't easy to do but it can be done and makes for a good time.

I've been going to "Temple" for years and always have a great experience. The bartenders know my name and they know my drink. The prices are fantastic, the bar games are cheap (or free) and the clientele is very friendly. After years of going there for drinks, I recently found out they serve food for lunch. Great burgers and fish sandwiches for less than 3 bucks. If you've never been here, you're missing out.

The giant, curvy horseshoe-shaped bar is worth the trip – you have to see it! Everyone mentions loving the shuffleboard table, as it’s one of the few places around you can play it, but what I really I love are the bartenders. So friendly and awesome! Just a great, laid-back place!
