Sounds Like Summer Concert Series: Soren Staff + The Nunnery + Jesse Straton Band

The Sounds Like Summer Concert Series is Volume One's Thursday night gig in downtown Eau Claire's Phoenix Park. Local bands play to crowds each night on the banks of the Chippewa River in June, July, and August. Enjoy a pre-show set from area singer/songwriters at 6pm. Multiple food vendors will have food for sale. Pets are allowed at the concert.

Soren Straff

Lead singer of Them Coulee Boys, Soren Staff’s solo work takes a more personal, earthy turn and explores the mysteries of love and heartbreak.

The Nunnery

The Nunnery is a solo act of Sarah Elstran, who creates meditative, lush soundscapes with layered vocal loops and catchy hooks. More of an experience than just a sound, The Nunnery's somewhat-improvised performances are informed by the spaces in which they occur, and her live shows often incorporate other forms of art such as live visual projections.
