Best street signs?

Do you think Eau Claire’s the best arts and entertainment town in Wisconsin? Feel like no town’s history can compete with Osseo’s? Think Chippewa Falls has the best food in the state? Well people, it’s time to let your voice be heard.

Wisconsin Trails, a bi-monthly magazine whose mission is to showcase what makes Wisconsin great, is currently holding a contest to find Wisconsin’s Best Towns. The contest is broken up into a series of categories, which include Best Family Getaway Town, Best Picture-Taking Town, Best Green Town, Best Small Town, and a whole bunch more. So get in there and plug your city, but just make sure that your extravagant yet incredibly well-reasoned write-up is based on things you can do in the spring and summer, as the final results are set to be published in Wisconsin Trails’ May/June issue. So no listing Winter After Hours as one of Eau Claire’s best outdoor activities, no matter how much you may want to. March 15 is the entry deadline, so you’ve got a month to figure out how to justify Lake Hallie as the best Shopping Town in Wisconsin. Get cracking.
