After reaching record highs on the Fourth of July, I think it’s safe to say we're trying to find ways to cool down. If you're the kind of person who likes to cool off via the consumption of gallons of ice cream, you could stop by infamous Chippewa Falls ice cream parlor Olson’s Ice Cream – Travel Wisconsin certainly thinks you should.

It's true. TravelWisconsin.com has dubbed our local Olson’s Ice Cream Parlor and Deli a fan favorite ice cream shop.

Fun facts: Olson’s ice cream has been serving the frosty goods in its current location since 1941. It's become so popular that many local grocery stores and restaurants sell Olson's at their own locations.

Olson’s serves ice cream made from only fresh whole milk, cream and sweetened condensed milk. None of that artificial stuff. Powders and fillers are never used in their "Homaid" batches. Some of their flavors include raspberry cheesecake, chocolate monster, coffee caramel, and mint chocolate chip, but if those are not your forte, fear not! Olson’s has over 80 flavors in all and offers between 28 and 31 flavors on a daily basis.

Congrats, Olson's!
