Eau Claire Regional Arts Council |

"Tissue Paper Painting"

Summary

1. Create a design using markers on plain white tissue paper or a single coffee filter.
2. Cut/tear and arrange pieces as desired onto a white sheet of paper.
3. Gently spray with water until the markers’ ink begins to bleed.
4. Peel tissue/filter away immediately or wait a minute or so for colors to mingle.
5. Voila! The final result is a beautiful “tie-dyed” piece that can be used as is or as a background for a drawing, a greeting card, etc.
