Grand Re-Opening: State Theatre and Community Center

Downtown Eau Claire's State Theatre reopened on Friday, October 11 as the State Theatre and Community Center with a ribbon cutting and re-lighting of the historic marquee. The event featured a celebration fair with pop-up shops, concessions, a photo area, refreshments, local music and art, community resource tables, and more. Remodeling work on the building was made possible through a Wisconsin Fast Forward Grant and partnership with Workforce Resource Inc. The facility will be a hub for nonprofits and job training (plus film screenings).
