The Blind Munchies Coffeehouse
621 Wilson Ave.
Menomonie, WI

Best coffee shop in town: unique atmosphere, solid coffee selection, great study space.

Food is good and the coffee is great. As a UW Stout student, they had really cheap breakfasts (like 2 bucks) every Saturday and was a great place to study. The volunteers are also really friendly and accommodating.

I used to go to Tim's various secular incarnations of this restaurant back in the day, (Scarlet Pumpernickel, Blind Munchies Eau Claire, Blind Munchies Menomonie, etc..) and can attest to the deliciousness of the food and coffee. (his bagels are amazing) I stopped going once they moved to their new location as I found the proselytizing from church members (and volunteer employees) onerous. I also can't really bring myself to support their organization after hearing about various situations from ex-members. While I realize this is supposed to be a restaurant review, one should be aware of where their money is going. Religious differences aside, the food and coffee are great.
