It’s no surprise that Cancun Mexican Restaurant (four Chippewa Valley locations) is at the top of this category for the 13th year in a row. Yeah, every year since 2008, Cancun has been our readers’ fave, no doubt because of its scrumptious queso, big burritos, flowing margaritas, and great atmosphere. Keep an eye on their new location on Hastings Way in Eau Claire, which will open soon. Coming in second is Silly Serrano Mexican Restaurant (329 Riverfront Terrace, Eau Claire) for its quick service, killer tacos, and bountiful burrito bowls. Tacos Juanita (2823 E. Hamilton Ave., Eau Claire) is a southside gem bringing great specials, bold Tex-Mex flavors, and an awesome brunch menu. –Eric Christenson
