Being a new mother in a new world is difficult, to say the least. The Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild’s upcoming production of Cry It Out is a testament to the struggle of new motherhood; specifically, the judgment received for being a working mother. Sometimes, both the newborn and the parents need to cry it out.

“I think it is a great show for adults who may reflect on their experience as parents…and even potential, future parents as well,” says director Susie Draegar. “Come have a good laugh, reflect, and be able to talk about these characters who are going through a period in their lives that many of us do.”

Cry It Out will be held at the Little Grand Theatre on Grand Avenue. Performance dates are Mar. 9-11, 16-18 at 7:30pm. Matinees are on Mar. 12 and 19 at 1:30pm. Tickets are sold online at CVTG.org.
