UW-Eau Claire’s CultureFest 2024 is bringing more student-run cultural groups than years prior, plus Minnesota-based Hong De Wu Guan, who will perform a lion dance on the event’s mainstage. Slated for Sunday, April 14, CultureFest will be held from 12-4pm at UW-Eau Claire’s Davies Center. It will be free to attend.

Hosting about 15 groups including the African Student Association, Uzbekistan Scholars, Ukraine Swan Lake Ballet Studio, and many others, event organizers will also accept non-expired food and hygiene products for the campus Harvest Food Pantry.

“CultureFest 2024 will be an exciting and fun-filled event for all ages! We will have featured performances, food and cultural items for purchase, games, activities, demonstrations, music, dancing, and more,” CultureFest organizers said.

Founded in 1966 by Barbara Rolland, and formerly known as the International Folk Fair, CultureFest is an annual event open to the public, inviting students and community members alike to celebrate diversity and learn more about cultural student organizations and area groups.
