Authors Karen Cowden Dahl and Susan Huehn will have books for sale and signing.

Dr. Karen Cowden Dahl is a cancer researcher at Gundersen Medical Foundation in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Her graduate training was at the University of Pennsylvania followed by postdoctoral work at the University of New Mexico. Karen has over 20 years of experience in scientific publishing. She lives in the bluffs near the Mississippi River with her husband and three children

Susan Huehn was born in a sleepy German town in south central Minnesota at the confluence of the Minnesota and Cottonwood Rivers. The town was home to her immigrant parents where she was raised speaking German and a love of German culture was imbedded in her at a cellular level. At a music festival in her home town, she met a German singer and after a three year transatlantic relationship (before email, Facebook and WhatsApp!) she moved to Germany, where she lived for three years. They got married during those three years and then returned to live in Northfield, Minnesota on a small hobby farm.
