There’s a block party, a musical mile, cool swag, and awesome views of the city and rivers. Basically, the Eau Claire Marathon – the five-time champ for Best Run/Walk, has a little something for everyone. And if you aren’t quite ready to run 26.2 miles, there’s also a relay option, a half marathon, and a kids run. RCU’s Rock the Riverfront offers just as much for the runners as it does for the spectators. After receiving (or watching someone receive) a medal for finishing a 10K- or 2-mile jaunt, participants can rock out with some inflatables, a dunk tank, face painting, a cash grab booth, and a variety of food trucks. Runners can put on their best costumes and support a variety of local charities at the Haunted Hustle 5K in October.
