AFRAID YET? Despite its haunted title, the Fear the Farm event promises frighteningly fun activities for all!

On Saturday, Oct. 28 at 5pm, ghosts, ghouls, and characters of all ages are welcome to celebrate together and participate in an eerily fun time with a costume contest, scary-okie (scary Karaoke), and more, at Dancing Yarrow in Mondovi!

The atmosphere of skeletons and pumpkins in the trees surrounding the glowing barn is ready for folks to bob for apples, for kids to play together, and for all to boogie on the dance floor, creating the best family-friendly Halloween event around. “Oh yeah, we decorate,” Maria Bamonti, co-owner of Dancing Yarrow, laughed. “It takes me a whole entire year to put everything away!” The food caters on-theme eats with a bar open for adults. The event entrance is free with food available for purchase.

“The whole point is just to have fun and get together and bring your best costume,” she said. There will be a best costume for kids, 1st and 2nd place, best adult costume, and possibly also best duo and best group. “The audience judges the costume contest,” she explained. “You never know what they’re going to decide. Sometimes it comes down to who can sell their costume the best!” Folks are also welcome if they are not in costume.

Featuring more inclusive games and goofs that have yet to be announced, there is no doubt that spooky, fun times are on the horizon. So, don’t be shy! Go grab your gear and get ready to boogie this Halloween with the whole family!
