Demographic data continues to prove that the Chippewa Valley is growing and diversifying at a healthy pace, and this year’s winners for Best People Watching function as a handy list for observing notably different slices of local culture. For a more urban version of the Chippewa Valley populace, try the Eau Claire Downtown Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings through the Spring, Summer, and Fall. For a more rural focus, the Northern Wisconsin State Fair (Chippewa Falls) attracts big crowds for a few days each July.
